And How To Recover, Permanently, Without Medication.

As a man who has suffered with depression in the past, I know the signs that come up when a fellow male is heading down that dark path.

You may even be suffering with mild depression without even knowing it.

That’s the best time to start implementing habits to get you off that path, before it gets really bad and is then much harder to recover from. Not impossible, but harder.

Sign #1 - You are losing interest in things you used to enjoy:

This could be work, hobbies, or even your wife or partner.

Sign #2 - You get easily irritated at the smallest of things:

If you notice yourself losing patience with the tiniest of things, this could be a sign that you are on the slippery slope of depression.

Sign #3 - You get easily offended by others:

If you find yourself getting easily offended by the tiniest comment from another person, this could be a sign that you are lacking self-confidence. A lack of self-confidence is a sign of depression.

Of course, there could be many other signs that you are heading down the route of depression too.

Anything that you see as not being your ‘normal self’ could be a sign that you are on that path.

But the good news is that no matter where you are on the scale of depression, you can recover and you can recover quickly and permanently - with the right support and plan in place.

Don’t fall for the trap of believing that it’s a lifetime illness.

It’s not.

It’s completely curable, and it all starts with belief.

Henry Ford once said “whether you believe you can or you believe you can’t, you’re right’.

And he was correct.

What we focus our attention on, becomes our reality.

If we believe we can recover, permanently, we will.

If we believe we can’t, we won’t.

And it’s not a difficult process.

It’s not easy, and it takes drive and determination.

But it’s completely possible with the right mindset.

I know.

I’ve been to the deepest depths of depression.

And now I’m at the complete opposite end of that spectrum.

External help from ‘professionals’ didn’t fix me.

And if you want to recover too, you have to take ownership of your life and start making better decisions.

The first decision you make should be to start believing in yourself.

Start believing that it is possible to recover.

You then want to start implementing habits into your life that empower you and will take you to your destination.

Like I mentioned, it’s not difficult but it does take drive and determination to succeed.

Nothing good was ever gained by holding back or waiting for others to make the first move.

You have the power within you.

You just need to find it.
